Step by step, Zinkia is moving in to the US market. After our recent listing on the New York Stock Exchange, last November 10, we’ve now signed a deal with the Children’s Books division of Random House, making them our partners for the management of Pocoyo publishing products.
This deal will enable us to offer a wide selection of English-language publications inspired by the series in both the US and Canada, including reading books, entertainment titles, and even ebooks. The first titles will be available by the summer.
For Zinkia, this is a clear indication that Pocoyo is generating significant public interest in both countries. At present, the series is shown on Nick Junior, Univisión, and many of the terrestrial channels that are part of the PBS platform. It has also earned the recognition of prestigious American organizations, such as the prizes awarded by the Parent’s Choice Foundation at the National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA).
