On April 30, we published Zinkia’s annual report for 2011. While I don’t want to provide a complete analysis of our figures, I would like to pick out some data worth highlighting because they demonstrate that, as we have always insisted, our project has a really promising future.

Today, we’ve made public the agreement we signed with CAKE, the British business that specializes in children’s and family audiovisual content, that makes them the official distributor of the Pocoyo series worldwide, except Spain, Italy, Portugal, South America, and the United States, where Zinkia will retain responsibility.
Zinkia recently signed a strategic agreement with EMI Music Publishing making the latter the global music rights manager for the Pocoyo brand.
The deal includes all the platforms on which the brand is currently present (TV, internet, videogames, cellular phones…) and is effective worldwide, with the exception of Spain and the United Kingdom. EMI Music will be responsible for the marketing and distribution of rights related to music for Pocoyo, both in terms of physical supports and digital channels, including all theme and recorded music, as well as the series’ soundtracks and future film productions.
